Pelantun "Love Yourself" itu diketahui sempat vakum beberapa tahun lalu.

Kini, lagu 'Yummy' ini seolah menyiratkan kembalinya Justin Bieber.

Nama Justin Bieber sendiri mulanya dikenal secara global setelah tenar di YouTube pada tahun 2008 silam.

Dikutip dari Kompas.com, setelah beberapa tahun vakum merilis lagu solo, Justin Bieber akhirnya kembali dengan singel berjudul "Yummy."

Pengulangan lirik "Yeah, you got that yummy-yum," sejak awal lagu terdengar catchy sebelum menambahkan kata "and you stay flexing on me".

Lagu yang baru resmi dirilis dua jam lalu ini juga diunggah Justin di akun media sosialnya.

"#yummy out worldwide now. Official video out Saturday January 4th at noon. #2020," tulis Justin Bieber di akun Instagram @justinbieber seperti dikutip Kompas.com, Jumat (3/1/2020).

Singel dari album yang belum diketahui jadwal rilisnya ini merupakan penanda kembalinya Bieber setelah proyek terakhirnya pada 2015, Purpose.

Meski tak mengeluarkan album, Bieber pernah mengeluarkan proyek duet dengan beberapa penyanyi, seperti DJ Khaled lewat lagu berjudul "No Brainer."

Duet bersama Ed Sheeran di lagu "I Don't Care" dan Billie Eilish dalam "Bad Guys."

"Dia mengambil libur sangat lama, dan selama itu, dia menemukan istrinya, dia telah bertumbuh banyak dan dia siap mengekspresikan dirinya lewat musik lagi," kata manajernya, Scooter Braun.
